The Effects of Testosterone on Cholesterol

Testosterone is a sex hormone that is produced in the testes in men and ovaries in women, cholesterol on the other hand is a fatty steroid essential in the human body cells for providing permeability and fluidity of cell membranes. Testosterone and cholesterol are related in that cholesterol plays an important role in the biosynthesis of the steroid hormones among them testosterone.
